Teide ½ day from the South Area
This popular excursion ascends from sea-level to 2370m into the El Teide National Park up to the highest peak in Spain, Mount Teide.
We reach Las Cañadas passing through the beautiful Canarian pine forests and along mountain roads, whilst enjoying breathtaking views and scenery.
Travelling through spectacular lunar landscapes, lava flows and rock formations featured in many Hollywood movies, we make our way to Mount Teide.
At the foot of the volcano, enjoy impressive views of the Ucanca Valley or choose to take the Cable Car to just below the peak (3550m).
Continuing on, we pass through one of the biggest craters in the world and visit Roques de García.
Finally, we descend through the forests and return.
