Our Night Sky Star Safari is a comprehensive stargazing activity for all. Including a three-course meal at an authentic Canarian restaurant on our way up the mountain. Later we stop for an amazing sunset from above the Sea of Clouds, our activity is your introduction to the night sky, stars and the Universe. It includes the guided use of telescopes for night sky observation of visible planets, the Moon, stars, galaxies,etc. Join us as we take a safari trek across the night sky with our lasers using constellations and detailed explanations of the science and mythology by expert astronomy guides. While in Tenerife, these astronomy tours are an ideal excursion for holiday makers, taking advantage of Tenerife being one of the best locations in the world for both professional and amateur astronomy. Full Description

After being picked up from your hotel or accommodation, you will be driven towards the Teide National Park. Stop for dinner and drinks on the way at a Canarian restaurant overlooking the ocean. Enjoy a glass of cava at the sunset from one of the best viewpoints of the mountain in the lava fields and overlooking the three islands of La Palma, La Gomera and El Hierro above the clouds in the National Park.

Continue on into the Teide National Park where you will have the opportunity to see more stars than ever before with an expert laser-guided tour to the constellations of the night sky, all set against the backdrop of prehistoric rock formations and Teide Volcano itself. See the planets and deep space objects through the Telescope and take in the amazing views of the stars and Milkyway.

This is a truly unique experience in Tenerife which is great for people of all ages and experience.

Know before you go

It gets cold up there…dress for the weather…we go to 1900meters so do not dive on day of tour and if pregnant check with your doctor first…we eat on the way up to sunset, so you have some warm food in your bellies before we get cold…
